What’s the role all about?
As our Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager, you’ll help shape the future of Training Services by driving strong compliance, smarter systems, and better service delivery. You’ll lead audits and validations, strengthen our quality frameworks, and make sure our Student and Learning Management Systems deliver accurate, reliable insights that support great decision-making.
This isn’t just about compliance ticking; it’s about creating real impact. You’ll collaborate with passionate teams and key stakeholders to transform systems, streamline processes, and support lifting performance and delivering meaningful outcomes our students. By turning data into action and building high-performing capability, you’ll lead a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation across our accredited training programs.
Your day-to-day as a QA & Compliance Manager will include:
Lead and empower our QA, Compliance and Resource Development teams to confidently support operations
Enhance and deliver practical, user-friendly quality and compliance systems aligned to RTO Standards 2025
Drive audits, validations, and continuous improvement initiatives that lift performance
Oversee SMS/LMS systems, data integrity, and reporting to ensure accurate learner tracking and insights
Turn data into action through dashboards, reporting, and improvement initiatives
Partner with stakeholders to strengthen service delivery while maintaining compliance excellence
Provide hands-on training and support to build capability across Training Services
Monitor compliance across government-funded programs (including Skills for Education & Employment (SEE) Program and the Self-Employment Assistance).
Champion a culture of quality, integrity, collaboration, and innovation across ETC
Desired Skills and Experience
What you will bring:
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with confident leadership:
Proven experience in an RTO compliance/QA environment
Strong knowledge of ASQA requirements and RTO Standards (2025)
Experience leading audits, validation, and quality frameworks
Confidence working with SMS/LMS platforms (ideally aXcelerate)
Ability to translate data into clear insights and practical actions
A collaborative leadership style with experience leading teams and driving performance
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for helping others succeed
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent)
Current QLD Blue Card, Driver’s Licence, and National Police Check
Bonus points if you have:
Qualifications in compliance auditing
Extensive experience with aXcelerate SMS/LMS
Knowledge of government-funded training contracts and programs
