Job Description
The Role - A Day in the Life of a Recruitment Account Manager
As a Recruitment Account Manager you will be responsible for managing high value employer partnerships, including large local, national and international employers, to deliver sustainable employment outcomes for ETC jobseekers.
The role focuses on strategic workforce partnerships, employment pipeline development, and tailored or codesigned recruitment solutions. Recruitment Account Managers work with employers to solve workforce challenges through customised recruitment models, labour market insight, and coordinated internal delivery.
This is a fixed-term position covering maternity leave, with an expected end date of June 2027
Your Key Responsibilities will include;
Actively promoting ETC’s Recruitment service solutions to local industry and employers Co-designing customised recruitment approaches with employers, including tailored sourcing, screening and job readiness
Develop and maintain effective strategic alliances with key stakeholders
Achieve agreed employer engagement, vacancy fill and employment outcome targets through effective account management and workforce planning
Account manager key employers and stakeholders to capitalise on relationships and employment opportunities
Anticipate future workforce needs through proactive employer engagement and demand forecasting
Prescreen, match and refer jobseekers into sustainable employment opportunities aligned to employer and pipeline requirements
Analyse local and regional labour market trends to inform employer engagement strategy and pipeline prioritisation
Provide strategic recruitment guidance to Recruitment Advisors supporting small to medium business, while maintaining account managed partnerships.
Proven ability to build and sustain multiple partnerships with large local, national or multisite employers
Experience designing or delivering customised or codesigned recruitment or workforce solutions
Previous account management and employer engagement experience
High level negotiation and influencing skills, including the ability to secure employer commitments and create mutually beneficial partnerships
Commercial judgement in balancing employer needs, candidate capability and contractual requirements
Demonstrated understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity principles and inclusive, nondiscriminatory recruitment practices
Outcome-focused with the ability to work autonomously and consistently achieve ambitious recruitment, placement, retention and KPI targets
High level interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Current Blue Card and National Police Check or willing to obtain
Current driver licence and confident with regional travel as this is a requirement of the role
Desirable
Qualification in Employment Services or Frontline Management, a related discipline, or extensive employment services experience
Knowledge of government services systems.
